Meet our team
We have two optometrists and qualified support staff with over a century of optical experience between everyone.
Kevin joined R Green & Partners in 1987. Within optometry his interests include glaucoma and he has spent time alongside a glaucoma consultant in the RVI Newcastle to gain additional experience in detection and management of this condition.
Kevin is also interested in education and has supervised pre-registration optometrists.
Wendy joined us in January 2014 and is our practice manager.
She has previously worked for 30 years in the NHS as an ophthalmic nurse, most lately as a Ward Sister in Ophthalmology and Facio-maxilliary surgery.
Wendy brings a range of clinical and managerial skills into the practice.
Sarah qualified in Optometry from the prestigious Cardiff University School of Optometry in 2015. Whilst spending her first years as an optometrist in the multiple sector her preference was to work in an independent practice and she joined us in November 2018. She has a thorough and caring approach in her consultations and is a popular member of the team.
Pamela’s background was initially in administration, but she moved into the independent optical world over 15 years ago and has found great success here. Drawing on her earlier experience, she helps ensure the practice runs smoothly, particularly with regard to navigating NHS procedures, but is excellent at assisting patients with dispensing and contact lens queries, adjustments and repairs.
